					Accounting ManagerJob Location: Bloomington, MNJob DescriptionAccounting Manager-13003179Description    Schwan&apos;s Consumer Brands, Inc. (a subsidiary of The Schwan Food Company) has created and developed some of the nation&apos;s most recognized and successful brands, such as Red Baron&amp;reg;, Freschetta&amp;reg;, and Tony&apos;s&amp;reg;, Edwards&amp;reg;, Mrs. Smith&apos;s&amp;reg; brands, among others. We currently have an opening for an Accounting Manager. This position is responsible for the management of general accounting functions and the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting balance sheets operating profits cash flow and other financial results as well as managing the accounting team.Responsibilities:    Formulate and administer approved accounting practices throughout the business unit to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operation    Develop policies and procedures that maintain consistency in financial reporting across multiple business areas    Advise and makes accounting treatment recommendations to management as required    Ensure an accurate and timely month and year end close by following and applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.    Prepare and analyze management reporting including balance sheet profit and loss and cash flow statements    Manage, train, and develop accounting team.Qualifications    Bachelor&apos;s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.    A minimum of 8-10 years related experience; including previous management experience    Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel; etc. SAP preferred.    Advanced skills in the use of electronic general ledger systems including the generation and use of reports from electronic general ledger systems    Advanced ability to apply general accounting concepts to daily work function.
