This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Supply Chain division with purchasing, planning, negotiation and maintaining inventory levels with preferred vendors.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years in Supply Chain and/or Purchasing and at least three years experience utilizing a database system (preferably Lawson/M3). A qualified candidate must possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, and outside vendors. He/she must be proficient with Microsoft Office software, have excellent technical and telephone skills and have the ability to work independently and with a great attention to detail. The ability to multi-task, great organizational skills, proficient and accurate data entry skills, ability to work with a robust computer system and professional responsiveness are all a must.
