Primary responsibilities are to prepare for and perform financial audits by working with a team of other great professionals.&amp;nbsp;Responsibilities: Externally, Audit Professionals will work at a client site with their audit engagement team. Each member of the team performs various components of the audit - gathering information from the client, reviewing and compiling client financial data, and preparing work papers and reports. Discussions with key leaders within the client company are part of the every-day-routine, so the Audit Professional must be aware of general business trends and issues, and apply that knowledge to the client&apos;s issues and solutions.&amp;nbsp;Internally, Audit Professionals will assist with planning and scheduling audit engagements. After fieldwork is performed, they will prepare trial balances and complex financial statements through a paperless office environment. They will also prepare and review financial statements and will reconcile accounts to specific controls. A big part of their role involves training others within the audit area and assisting with their career development through feedback and the delegation of appropriate work based on experience.&amp;nbsp;Qualifications: TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, an Audit Professional will have a Bachelor&apos;s degree in Accounting, with 1 1/2 - 3 years of audit experience, preferably with a large regional or national firm. A CPA license is preferred - or at least a demonstration that you are working towards obtaining your CPA license. Proficiency with Word, Excel and audit engagement software is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as you will be talking with and working with high level finance professionals and business owners on a regular basis. You also need to be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Oh, and you need to be good at leading teams and working well with others.&amp;nbsp;This opportunity requires frequent same-day travel to client locations, as well as occassional out-of-town travel with an overnight stay.
