OPENING DATE: 12/26/2018
CLOSING DATE: Open until filled
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible.
COMPENSATION: $13+/hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing office support for the Testing Services. This is a part-time position offering approximately 19 hours per week. Benefits are not available for this position.
DUTIES:
- Maintains front reception, serving as the first point of contact for all visitors and students for Student Affairs or Testing Services.
- Provides direct assistance to students, parents, faculty and staff for the efficient operation of Student Affairs or Testing Services.
- Prepares general correspondence and responds to telephone calls and emails for Student Affairs or Testing Services.
- Assists department with special projects as needed.
- Supports innovation, creativity and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the college.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Required:
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Good interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills in working with faculty, students, and the public.
- Good organizational skills and attention to details.
- Excellent computer software skills - Microsoft Office, email and excellent keyboarding skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Disciplined and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Good working knowledge of Student Affairs and Testing Services.
- Experience in a comparable position.
