Department: 47950 Workers Comp Office

Job Description: Responsible to review medical records including operative reports, office visits, and therapy notes to determine current physical status. Helps assist providers in determining if patient has reached maximum medical improvement and determine if the patient has a preliminary or final permanent partial disability rating to comply with applicable state statutes and rules. Acts as a resource for questions concerning patients who are temporarily or permanently disabled and assists their physician with completion of legal forms and requests.

Work Experience:
2 years experience in workers compensation and disability law and knowledge of health care.
Experience working with patients who have had on-the-job injuries, or comparable experience and training in a related legal or health care field.

Education Qualifications:
No educational requirement.

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
Current applicable license (i.e Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy).
