Plant Operations/Delivery Driver

Agtegra Cooperative in Highmore is looking to fill a Seasonal Plant Operations/Delivery Driver position. This position does have the potential to lead to a full-time position.

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining all equipment associated with the blending, mixing, and loading of bulk fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, bulk and packaged chemicals, bulk and bagged seed, and feed. This position is also responsible for keeping adequate inventories all of fertilizer, chemical, and feed, within guidelines provided by the location manager. This position may also require the acquisition of a CDL for the operation of tender trucks. This candidate will also be required to conduct maintenance on all machines at the location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain seed and dry fertilizer bulk handling equipment (Bobcat, Forklift, and Payloader) in a safe and efficient manner and perform necessary preventative maintenance on them.
• Follow label instructions and missing orders when loading crop protection products, blending fertilizer, or when treating or inoculating seed. Knowledge of chemicals and use rates is a must.
• Provide accurate, efficient, and safe unloading, loading, and delivery of product.
• Keep work spaces and public areas clean and debris free while focusing on company and employee safety.
• Be held accountable for all inventories in the warehouse.
• Record keeping and billing processes are pivotal to success in this position.
• Must be friendly, courteous, and professional with customers and employees as this is a very customer-centric position.
• This position is responsible for providing support and promoting our safety culture.

Education and Experience Required

• This qualified individual must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, possess excellent team work and people skills, and looking for a rewarding position with a growing company . Must have a good driving record and either have their CDL or have the ability to obtain one.
