Who We're Looking For:

Are you always on the move, love working outdoors, but don't mind spending time in 'the shop' doing small repairs and maintenance as well? Are you a go-getter with the ability to fix a problem and provide excellent customer-service at the same time? Do you pride yourself on getting the job done right the first time and don't mind getting a little dirt on your hands in the process? If so, do your best work with Acme Rents as a Part-Time Rental Associate!

What You'll Take Ownership Of:

• Identify customer needs to correctly recommend the right tool/equipment.

• Create, modify, and close customer contracts accurately.

• Load, unload, and organize rental equipment around the yard.

• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and in person.

• Instruct customers on tool/equipment safety, operation, loading and unloading.

• Inspect tools and equipment for damage and report repairs needed.

• Record hours and fuel levels upon rental and return.

• Create and close service work orders on the computer.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues for customers in person and on the phone.

• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.

• Conduct daily inventory reports for tools and equipment inside the store and outside in the yard.

• Schedule ongoing maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.

• Conduct regular maintenance and minor repair on rental equipment such as changing fluids, replacing filters, ignition replacements, changing hydraulic lines, replacing starters and alternators on equipment including skidsteers, mini excavators, light towers, generators, forklifts, and boom lifts.

• Perform related tasks as assigned.

Need-To-Haves:

• Excellent customer service skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Skills and Experience Preferred:

• Previous mechanical repair experience

• Tool & equipment knowledge
