Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct oversight of the Service Centers Paint and Detail Department.

• Directs and assumes responsibility for quality of paint and final detail repairs. This includes completion of proper paperwork and aircraft final release.

• Ensures all personnel are only assigned duties for which they are specifically qualified. Takes appropriate action to upgrade personnel technical skills and qualifications where necessary.

• Verifies that tools and equipment are serviceable and meet calibration requirements prior to their use.

• Supervises all maintenance personnel to ensure efficiency in available manpower utilization.

• Maintains the work areas, buildings and materials, which are utilized for aircraft maintenance, in a safe, clean and operative condition.

• Ensures all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer's manuals or other FAA accepted or approved data.

• Mentors and trains technicians in proper repair procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least four years' experience in aircraft painting processes.

• Working knowledge of Cirrus Aircraft paint quality and procedures preferred.

• Good working knowledge of the General Maintenance Manual.

• Basic Computer skills.

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to delegate.

• Detail oriented.

• Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
