POSITION SCOPE

The Quality Control Technician(s) sample and test asphaltic concrete, aggregate base course, soils and aggregates on various projects located throughout New Mexico. Experience is preferred, though not required.

This position involves working at project site(s) during the week and some weekends. Overtime can be anticipated during the summer and fall months. Per diem, company vehicle, and company phone are offered. Full time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurances and 401k retirement plan.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Accurately follow established testing procedures
• Collect materials samples
• Routinely lift samples up to 65 pounds in weight
• Reduce samples to testing size
• Accurately weigh samples/materials
• Enter test data into established reporting formats
• Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Detail orientated
• Proficient math and computer skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to work without constant supervision
• Ability to simultaneously work well with others

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license (must be able to meet Companies insurance requirements)
• Pass basic physical examination
• Pass drug screen testing
