Job Details

Position Description:
The primary responsibilities of a Teacher Technician include:
  • Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate environments and curriculum for infants and toddlers.
  • Promote a home/school relations and partnership with parents and the community.
  • Assist in the supervision of university students participating in the infant and toddler rooms.
  • Support an organizational climate that fosters trust, collaboration and inclusion.
  • Work safely

Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.
  • One to two years of experience working with children birth - two years of age.
  • One year supervisory experience of co-workers and/or students

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of infant/toddler curriculum, environments and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • NAEYC Accreditation standards
  • Certified in Infant-Child CPR , Pediatric First Aid and AED
  • ND Growing Futures Registered
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Word

Physical Demands:
  • Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Continuous standing, walking, sitting on floor, reaching, kneeling and stooping.
