Position Description:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and Director of Athletics, this position will lead the day-to-day operations of a comprehensive annual fund, work with the Team Makers Executive Committee, Team Makers Board of Directors, volunteers and all areas of external fundraising/revenue generation to support Bison Athletics.

This includes but not limited to, budgeting, strategic planning, leading the annual membership drive, in-kind trade, the transportation team and the management of the priority point system as it is relating to seating obligations, ticketing, parking, tailgating, donor records and special events. This position will serve as the liaison between the athletic department and the Team Makers Club as well as serve on the Gaming, Finance, Investment/Budget and Marketing committees of Team Makers. This position will prioritize growing the donor base in the Fargo-Moorhead community, state, region, and nationally by engaging with former student-athletes, parents and the passionate NDSU alumni and fan base.

The Assistant Director of Athletics / Team Makers Executive Director must be highly self-motivated, creative, thrive under pressure and believe in the mission of North Dakota State University, Bison Athletics and the Team Makers Club. Travel both locally and nationally is expected in addition to regular attendance at evening and weekend athletic activities and donor events.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Three years fundraising, marketing and/or sales experience
• Ability to develop and manage budgets and schedules
• Ability to use and maintain a CRM tool
• Experience in developing and implementing and short- and long-term strategic plans
• Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with administrators, coaches, staff, students, volunteers and the public
• Demonstrated evidence of ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously by employing effective management strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively to multiple audiences
• Evidence of self-initiative
• Capacity to develop cultivation and solicitation strategies and ensure follow-up activities and stewardship with donors

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Sport Administration
• Five years of fundraising, marketing and/or sales experience
• Successful experience in fundraising, marketing and or/sales experience in an intercollegiate athletic department
• A successful track record of soliciting, securing memberships and closing gifts
• Former student-athlete at North Dakota State
