JOB SUMMARY

Introduces, educates and carries out exercise services to clients, including supervision of exercises facility. Acquires a general knowledge base of all exercise equipment and understands correct exercise techniques. Cleans, maintains and organizes exercise facilities as outlined in policies and procedures. Possesses the ability to work independently and with others, providing positive feedback and encouragement while overseeing all independent exercisers. Performs duties directed by management as needed, providing availability and assistance to whomever needs the extra hand within the facility. Completes the daily and weekly duty checklists. In times of equipment malfunction, reports malfunctions to the appropriate persons immediately. Expected to remove equipment that has malfunctioned or needs to be repaired.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Filling in as needed, Refer guest problems or complaints to supervisors. Provides a quality of service that customers describe as excellent. Provide towels and sheets to clients in public baths, steam rooms, and restrooms. Maintain fitness equipment. Inspect recreational facilities for cleanliness. Demonstrates an ability to meet own responsibilities. Collect soiled linen or clothing for laundering. Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices. Demonstrates the ability to maintain focus for specific activities. Uses language appropriate to audience. Supports the leader's mission, vision, initiatives and priorities consistently.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and recertification as required.
