The Job Trainer implements clients' ISP plans through direct work training, work activity supervision and one-to-one and/or group activities. This work also involves transporting clients from home to work, from work to home and to enclave placements. Running DAC enclave(s) or in-house work program including training clients in multiple work operations, managing and supervising work program operations, meeting production schedules, ensuring quality control and coordinating with outside suppliers and customers.
Qualifications
* High school education or equivalent, preferred course work in human services, special education or a related field.
* At least one to two years of training experience working with developmentally disabled adults/children in a related human services agency or group home setting.
* Ability to develop effective relationships and work with developmentally disabled adults.
* Ability to implement training programs consistent with client ISP goals and objectives.
* Strong client supervisory and production management skills.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
