FIBER FOREMAN – DULUTH/TWO HARBORS MN
To apply for this position, you must hold a valid Power Limited Technician license, and be eligible to become the PLT of record with the State of Minnesota (non negotiable).
Zito Media is looking for a full-time Fiber Foreman for their cable/internet/phone system. This is a hands-on position that in addition to managing the install crews will be terminating, splicing, documenting and testing of all fiber optic cables within Zito Media’s fiber optic networks and their related equipment. Also responsible for customer premise installations, including racking, cabling, bonding, grounding, perform ring cuts on live fiber, perform fiber tests with OTDRs, light source and meters. Install demarcation enclosures, switches and other telecom equipment.
Required skills include, 1 year of outside plant fiber splicing and customer premise equipment installation. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid state driver’s license along with an excellent driving record.
