Shop Manager

Must have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
*Pipe fitting and heavy industrial applications
*ASME of quality control
*AutoCad
*Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
*Knowledge/experience of welding (wire, stick, tig & mig)
*General computer skills (MS Excel & Internet)
*Scheduling employees and managing
*Strong process flow capabilities to prevent production bottlenecks and meet job deadlines
*Experience with handling employee conflict, disciplinary actions and terminations
*Knowledge of DOT regulation helpful, but not required

Qualifications:
*Require 4-6+ years of management/assistant management experience in a fab shop
*Production management for industrial application strongly preferred
*Must be assertive, confident, quick witted, handle pressure, and ability to resolve conflicts
*Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with potential overtime in summer (May-August).
Salary: Starting at $45,000/year +DOE, with potential for annual bonus
