Material Handler - 1st/2nd shift
$12.00-$16.00/hr
The material handler is responsible for stocking and pulling of parts and delivering production materials and supplies.
Requirements:
*Two years job experience in a related position preferred
*Accurately utilizes data collection
*Ensure Customer requirements are met
*Writes legibly, performs documentation, reporting, and other paperwork requirements *Operates basic tools and material handling equipment
*Receive and pull material
*Performs other duties as assigned
*Performs routine forklift maintenance as required
*Proactively anticipates production needs
*Utilizes software system
*Identify inventory inaccuracies
*Performs tasks outside of basic work requirements
*Assists in training new employees
*Assists co-workers with issues/problems
*Demonstrates a high level understanding of storage strategy and warehouse procedure *Identify and correct causes of inventory inaccuracies
*Develop and implement warehouse operation improvements
*Ensures effective training of employees in the department
