Hornbacher's is now accepting applications for the position of Full-time Meat Cutter/Clerk at our Southgate location.  To prepare, display and promote meat items and to provide excellent customer service. To contribute toward ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers.

• Perform meat cutting and preparation as assigned.
• Assists in stocking and displaying of products.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area including backroom and sales floor.
• Operates all meat equipment in a competent and safe manner.
• Practices safe work habits and maintains safe conditions for customers and team members.
• Communicates effectively and maintains a positive relationship with co-workers and management.
• Provides prompt and courteous service to customers.
 

Emphasis in this position is on readying meat cases for daily sales, ensuring product cases are properly stocked, rotated, priced and signed.  Position requires ability to work efficiently and at a steady pace in order to complete assigned tasks. The Meat Dept. Manager establishes work priorities. The Meat Clerk maintains a neat and orderly work area following Hornbacher's sanitation standards.
