Customer Service Representative Job



The Customer Service Representative performs a wide variety of tasks, but generally serves as a liaison between our customers and the company. This person must be well organized and be a self-starter. This position requires excellent clerical and secretarial skills for completing routine tasks and requires good interpersonal skills for communicating with numerous people both internal and external to the company.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily actions such as: receive incoming phone calls from customers for service or supplies
  • Complete service and supply orders from customers and follow up that fulfillments were processed in a timely manner
  • Answer customer questions regarding service and supply request. Report client concerns with department managers
  • Help resolve billing issues for service and supply invoices, make corrections as needed
  • Perform daily actions such as billing and shipping audits, review pending supply orders and check supply back order status with the warehouse manager
  • Coordinate special supply orders as necessary with the purchasing department




  • High School diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Typing - 60 wpm
  • Prior sales exp. helpful
  • Must have good written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Must have good basic math skills
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to work for a long period of time sitting at a desk using a computer, up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to travel, overnight on occasion for training if necessary


Hours: Mon - Fri 8-5

Business casual dress code

Pay: $16-16.50/hour
