Objective: The primary function of a Design Engineer is to
coordinate product design and development for conveying
equipment.

Primary Tasks and Qualifi cations:

• Perform design analysis for conveying equipment
• Create detail drawings
• Complete bills of material
• Designs meet Superior Industries engineering standards
• and customer's expectations
• Technical education and/or applicable experience in
• Engineering
• Thorough understanding of:
• Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
• Shaft, bearing, and power transmission design and analysis
• ASD steel design code
