Physical Therapy Assistant (casual)

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) follows the treatment plan established by the therapist using any established American Association of Physical Therapy (APTA) Clinical Practice Guidelines, Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and policies and procedures of Essentia Health St. Mary•s (EHSM). Settings include: Home Health, Nursing Home, Acute Care, Outpatient clinic, Schools, and other contracted facilities. Utilizes a sound knowledge base relative to the specific populations served.

Qualifications Required:
  • Diploma from Accredited PTA Program.
  • Must be BLS certified or become certified within six (6) months.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • 1 year previous experience preferred.
