Supply Chain Analyst

Department: Production Business

Location: Thief River Falls, MN

Position Type: Full-time

Schedule (may change based on business needs): Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Position Overview:
To coordinate and implement supply chain engagements with Production Business Customers, whether bond, MRP
Share, or VMI. The Supply Chain Analyst works with the customer and the Production Business team to offer the best
solution for both the customer and Digi-Key, both from program start-up and ongoing growth.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate customer requests for setting up Supply Chain programs, acting as a liaison between customer and
PB sales
• Analyze inventory positions on customer's parts lists and making recommendations to the responsible
management teams
• Work directly with VBD Supervisors and Representatives to meet and exceed customer expectations in support
of production requirements
• Manage the rollout phase of the Supply Chain program including means of communication, part selection and
amount of bond qualities
• Lead conference calls with customers discussing Digi-Key Supply Chain capabilities, customer systems, reports
and requirements
• Drive SC program performance by working with sales to add additional parts to programs and remove slow and
non-movers from Programs
• Manage Customer imports, Supply Chain reports
• Build Monarch Models
• Manage customer VMI programs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills:
• Order Management experience preferred
• Ability to actively participate as a member of the VBD Management team in order to meet department goals
• Ability to provide positive motivation and leadership
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding relationship development skills
• Proficient with computer software applications necessary for success in this position, including Excel, Word,
PowerPoint and Digi-Key internal applications
• Post-secondary education desirable
• Strong understanding of inventory management
• Strong understanding of the sales process especially the in the production environment
