PLM (Windchill) Applications Administrator
Maintain and support existing PLM System infrastructure. Work closely with the CAD/CAE administrator and Information Technology (IT) group to maintain an efficient and stable environment. Support database implementations as required for engineering applications. Monitor and maintain PLM application and supporting systems.
Report on total cost of ownership for PLM stability, performance and uptime. Troubleshoot production issues as they relate to the infrastructure of Windchill PDM Link suites, Project Link, Business Reporting, Info Engine, etc... Manage Windchill system and tools for performance and stability reporting. Serve as a primary contact for all application issues requiring vendor escalation. Be available for “On Call” support requirements as needed.
Responsible for managing and maintaining Development, Staging and Production environments. Responsible for working with the IT group to define hardware and operating system specifications. Responsible for working with the IT group on all Disaster Recovery setup and testing of Windchill. Assist Manager in strategic planning for capacity and functionality, and lead implementation per strategic plan. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority. Create system upgrade plans, conduct testing in the development environment, document upgrade procedures, and implement in the production environment. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
· Associate's Degree in Computer Science or computer related discipline.
· At least 1-3 years' experience administering Windchill PDM Link or other PLM system or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
