 Direct Support Professional (DSP)

 Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are responsible for supporting people in the attainment of their personal outcomes and desires. DSPs' will work to establish a positive and respectful relationship with each person served and assist and/or support them in their day-to-day routines within their home and community. Promote physical and emotional well being of people supported. DSPs' will support people to be involved in community life activities, promote social capital and maintain relationships. DSPs' will provide for and maintain basic Health & Safety for people supported. Communicates positively and effectively. DSPs' will complete both Developmental Disabilities Certification and on-going training required timely. A DSP is someone with a positive attitude and is self-confident, interactive, caring, a good listener, responsible and dependable. .

Salary:
$11.25/Hour
Non-Exempt
