The Outpatient Coding Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate APC coding and completion of abstraction screens.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, providers and the public. Maintain the clinic/patient confidentiality policy. Exhibit outstanding telephone etiquette, the ability to speak clearly and concisely and to follow oral and written instructions. Requires moderate knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
