The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) setting assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises nursing care for emergency and ambulatory procedure patients in accordance with professional standards of emergency nursing and policies and procedures of the organization.
Qualifications (minimum requirements)
Must have current Registered Nurse license through the State of Minnesota.
Must be ACLS certified or become certified within six (6) months.
Must be TNCC, CALS, ATCN, CATN or other equivalent in-house training or become certified with-in six (6) months.
Education and/or years of experience required:
Qualifications Preferred*
1 year previous experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
