Customer Service Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring that all customer needs are met
• Create and maintain a positive company image to all potential and current customers.
• Effectively handle complex or escalated inquiries from customers
• Investigate and solve long-standing or complex customer problems passed on by the customer service technicians.
• Quote and schedule field service trips, as well as start-up and training trips.
• Handle customer communication with professionalism – may include on-site visits, phone calls, e-mail or video conferencing.
• Supervise customer service team, learn about the products or services of the organization, and follow product modification / improvements.
• Train staff to deliver excellent customer service and be involved in staff appraisals and recruiting.
• Develop customer service standards, policies and procedures for the organization or department.
• Work with Management and Engineering to provide feedback from customers and field personnel on recurring issues, product enhancements and product improvements.
• Coordinate with the Customer Service Manager of the sister company to cross-train personnel and assist with joint projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering to develop accurate product Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department on complex issues to ensure the customers get the correct parts.
• Travel both domestically and internationally as required.
• Ensure timely submission, review and approve required paperwork for all Customer Service employees.
• Provide monthly status reports to upper management

• Other duties as directed
Requirements
• Candidates for the Customer Service position must have 10 years of experience in related field
