Sanford Senior Services is seeking a Personal Care Associate to provide flexibility in staffing the dietary, housekeeping, recreational therapy, physical therapy, and nursing departments. The Personal Care Associate assists with the direct resident care, recreational therapy services, environmental care, restorative care, equipment use, and food preparation and services and contributes to the nursing process and ancillary process by performing resident care and non-resident care activities as delegated by a Licensed Nurse, Dietary manager, General Services Manager, or Recreational Manager

Qualifications:
Must have good human relations and communication skills. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Food service experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the licensed nurse, dietary manager, recreational coordinator, and environmental services manager. Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of resident care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area. Must possess a desire to work with residents in subacute care and long term care. CNA certification required.
