The primary responsibility of the Respiratory Therapist is to administer respiratory therapy according to the Respiratory Care Services Standards of Care and Protocols, MD order and evaluate the effectiveness of that therapy.Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Incumbent must have successfully passed either the NBRC Certification or registry examination. Must be licensed in North Dakota as a respiratory therapist. Education and /or experience equivalent to a Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Previous experiences in specialty area preferred or the ability to demonstrate achievement of unit specific competencies.
