Provides professional nursing care for patients while encouraging and supporting families in ED/CEU. This would include allowing the families presence while providing care to the patient based on the patients preference, not the nursing staff recommendation.
RN graduate from an accredited program and current North Dakota license. ED/CEU experience typically acquired in one to two years is required or ability to demonstrate achievement of unit specific competencies. The incumbent must have the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in meaningful ways using email and word processing. Basic Life Support required. Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course within one year of employment. Strong interpersonal skills beneficial. Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Must be able to comprehend policies, patient records, physician•s orders, procedures and guidelines. 72 hours per pay period / 12 hour shifts / weekends.
