- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide support and accommodations to ensure students' academic success
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students with diverse learning needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- State certification in Special Education or able to obtain special permissions.
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
