Property Maintenance Technician

The HRA of Clay County seeks Full Time employee to perform general building & grounds maintenance activities on its rental units in Clay County.

Duties & responsibilities include preparing units for occupancy at turnover; light plumbing, electrical, carpentry & locksmith activities; as well as year-round building & grounds maintenance. Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule for weekend & evening emergencies. Ideal candidate will have general & preventative maintenance experience; good communication skills, familiarity with hand & power tools; & the ability to work well with diverse populations. Requires min. of 2 years related experience; HS diploma; ability to pass criminal background check & valid drivers license.

Wage: $21.74 to $26.28 per hr. with an excellent benefits package that includes 100% employer paid single health, dental & life insurance. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
