Assistant County Attorney

Clay County is accepting applications for a Full-Time Assistant County Attorney for the criminal
team. All applicants are required to have a Juris Doctorate degree and be licensed to practice law
in Minnesota. Duties may include, but are not limited to, legal representation of the State of
Minnesota and/or Clay County in the prosecution of criminal felony, gross misdemeanor, and
misdemeanor offenses, petty misdemeanors, and traffic offenses.

Salary range is $81,848-$88,182 or negotiable depending on experience. This position is eligible for Clay County’sexcellent benefit package, along with opportunities for career development and personal growth.
