Mid America Steel, Inc. - Project Manager

Our client, Mid America Steel, Inc. located in Fargo, North Dakota, has an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on individual as their Project Manager. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of complex engineering projects dealing with concrete reinforcing, structural steel and miscellaneous metals.  Core responsibilities include expertise with materials, fabrication processes and methods, negotiating, budgeting, scheduling, engineering, and delivery methods.  Additional duties include on-going communication with customers as the main point of contact and collaborating with the Production Manager on scheduling work and the delivery of finished goods. Continual communication and relationship management with internal departments to make sure projects are progressing. 

Qualifications include 5+ years of hands-on water infrastructure project management experience in a construction environment.  Expertise with structural steel, reinforcing steel, concrete reinforcing and other materials is mandatory.  The Project Manager role requires at least an Associates in Drafting/Estimating or Construction Management, with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction management preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, exceptional organization skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Expertise with TeklaEPM, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and ComputerEase is highly preferred.
