Terms of Employment: November through April (depending on weather)
The person will be required to work both Saturday and Sunday along with any Holidays that occur where school employee's are off.
Hours/days: 6:00am until duties are completed (start time is flexible)
Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license, ability to climb steps, walk long distances, and some mechanical knowledge or able to be trained what to look for.
Job Goal: Maintain and secure buildings to ensure all proper heating, cooling, and entries are locked properly.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
This position will have a school vehicle to drive to each site, along with phone numbers for the proper people to contact for any questions or problems that may arise.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally walk and stand. Lift sixty (60) lbs. occasionally, with the ability to reach, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and/or crawl. Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. Benefits: Employees who work 30 hours or more per week are

- Walk the interior of buildings to make sure doors (exterior) are secure and making sure temperature is good throughout the building.
- Check boilers/pumps/boiler rooms to make sure everything is working and that there are no leaks or other issues.
- Check points of entry for proper closure and ensure that all locks are secured.
