Maintenance Technician

This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position with a rotating on-call schedule. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes and rolling stock, along with grounds keeping and building maintenance. Salary range $27-$34/hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preventative maintenance of all process plant and utility plant
equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Preventative maintenance and minor repairs on wheeled equipment at the plant.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: pumps,
 rolling stock, electrical components, tanks and vessels and pipe welding, heat
exchangers, grain/elevator equipment, building and grounds, and other various
• equipment.
• Keep plant and facilities clean
• Maintain self awareness on safety issues and requirements.
• Safe work practices are a condition of employment. Report any safety issue or
 problem to the department supervisor and safety coordinator immediately.
• Maintain a team environment with all other plant employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Promote Granite Falls Energy, LLC in the community.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum
of 50 lbs. Will be exposed to high noise levels. Qualified individuals will work at
heights, be able to adapt to 12-hour workdays, and be able to meet call-in requirements as
needed. Elevated work required.
