Summary
Directs and coordinates activities of organization to obtain optimum efficiency maximize
profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals.
-Directs and coordinates promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market, and
obtain competitive position in industry.
-Directs preparation of directives to staff outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be
implemented.
-Responsible for cross training staff.
-Responsible for ordering inventory, setting up reorder levels by product line and maintaining inventory
management system
-Responsible for Time and Attendance system. Adjust hours worked, report time off requests and hours
worked for payroll, bi-weekly.
-Oversees parts and service departments.
-Work with owners and accounting to develop a process for setting margins by product line, including
market research.
-Responsible for developing and maintaining a successful marketing plan for the company.
-Requires basic knowledge of trailers, lawn tractors, power equipment, sub-compact and compact tractors, and other automotive products.
-Greet customers on the dealership lot and the showroom floor.
-Expected to maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with customers.
-Build brand awareness through various media outlets and respond to inquiries.
-Oversee ad layouts and negotiate contracts.
-Responsible for taking photos, posting to, and maintaining company’s webpage.
-Proficient in website basics and understanding how people interact with websites.
-Sell trailers, lawn tractors, power equipment, sub-compact and compact tractors, accessories, and add-ons
-Prepare price quotes and bill of sales.
-Work with Marketing/IT to enhance and develop processes including product data, customer relations management, website product integrations and online marketing campaigns.
-Educate customers about products and services giving accurate and current information about all products.
-Report as needed to owners and accountant.
-Implements improvements.
