Scope:
Partner with managed sites to provide Human Resources support.

- For our managed sites, facilitate Human Resources projects and utilize internal resources to execute.
- Ensure employee related compliance.
- Consult with leadership related to people initiatives.
Partner with managed sites to provide Human Resources support.
- Recruit as needed per site requirements.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks and make job offers.
- Ensure new hire paperwork and other set up requirements are done in a timely manner.
- Partner with leadership to ensure the sites utilize an effective new hire onboarding program.
- Adjust programming as needed.
- Work with on-site HR representative to manage benefit programs.
- Integrate HRIS programming into day-to-day operations.
- Use a project management approach to onboarding and offboarding managed sites.
- Ensure safety related compliance.
- Partner with on-site leaders to create knowledge and process around submission of required reports.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees
- Lead People meetings.
- Use progressive discipline practices to effectively communicate expectations.
- Follow federal and state employment laws in dealing with discipline, unemployment and all other employment related issues.
- With on-site leaders, create metrics to monitor important employee KPI's.
- Provide HRIS troubleshooting and assistance to employees as needed.
- Travel to sites as needed.
- Provide project support to the Knute Nelson HR team as needed.
- Four-year college degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience.
- Two years Human Resources experience, preferably as a Generalist.
- Customer Service experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Able to work with varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff.
- Demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
- Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors.
