Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Oversight: Manage the overall delivery of clinical services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement clinical service strategies that align with organizational objectives and improve patient outcomes.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily clinical operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and workflow processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all clinical services meet regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, IT, administration) to ensure integrated service delivery and support.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for clinical services, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Staff Development: Lead recruitment, training, and professional development efforts for clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Patient Experience: Promote initiatives that enhance patient engagement, satisfaction, and safety.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and research, integrating innovative practices that improve clinical effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clinical staff, administration, and external partners, to support organizational goals.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Current unrestricted license as Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota/Wisconsin (whichever is applicable).
  • A degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MSN, MHA, MBA) is often preferred.
  • Significant experience in clinical operations and leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on inspiring and guiding multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement to inform clinical decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify challenges in clinical service delivery and implement effective solutions.
  • Must complete and pass a state-mandated background check.
  • Ability to physically perform the job duties.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
