Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to incorporate all aspects of physical therapy in total resident/patient care.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines.
• Facilitate all residents to their highest level of function.
• Ability to grasp new theories and principles and implement them into practice.
• Understand and implement state and federal regulations for long-term care.
• Prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks within a day.

Minimum qualifications:
  • MN Physical Therapist certification
  • Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Proven positive skills in working successfully with a team or independently
  • Diverse background in clinical experiences and training with the senior population
  • Creative, proven communication skills and the ability to prioritize and organize
  • High degree of self-motivation and commitment to the patients we serve
  • Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
  • Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships
