DNR Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Salary Range: $69,050 - $80,179

The DNR is accepting applications for two (2) full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic positions in Grand Rapids. This position supports the DNR Fleet Program in the Northeast Region by performing services, scheduled maintenance and repairs to all DNR equipment utilized by divisions within the agency.

The DNR is looking for individuals with a degree or certificate in Diesel Mechanics or two (2) years of work experience as a heavy equipment mechanic in a shop or field setting. This position requires a current Class A Driver’s License, Commercial Vehicle Inspection certification and ASE Certifications T2 and T8 (or able to obtain within six (6) months of hire)
