Description & Details: NDSU Libraries is looking for a Data and Digital Technologies Librarian to join our team! This individual will provide leadership and direction in support of the Libraries' data and digital technologies initiatives, with an opportunity to identify and incorporate liaison responsibilities. This position is located within the Research & Engagement department. As a member of the division of Research and Engagement, the Data & Digital Technologies Librarian develops and promotes the NDSU Libraries suite of technologies: Data Visualization Lab; Digital Fabrication Lab; CoLab Space; Multimedia Lab which includes podcasting, presentation, and Lightboard options. This position identifies student and campus-focused initiatives within and outside the NDSU Libraries, collaborates with campus and college partners, corporate community partners, librarian liaisons and libraries' staff to support student innovation, engagement, and access to creative technology services. The DDT Librarian is responsible for a .50 library staff employee and several graduate and undergraduate student employees to assist in staffing the various technologies spaces
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
Advertised Salary: $65,000+/year depending on experience and qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Accredited ALA or international equivalent MLS, MLIS, MSIS or MS; ALA-accredited Masters in Library Science.
- Experience providing library instruction in person or online, or experience with both.
- Experience working in an academic library or research setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with academic colleges, departments, faculty, staff, and students to engage, provide support to, teach, and motivate students.
- Demonstrated commitment to the library as an academic support unit.
- Demonstrated ability to create a library environment that is welcoming and inclusive.
- Experience working with under-represented populations.
- Experience creating and implementing programs and/or services for undergraduate populations.
- Demonstrated experience teaching/instructing student/faculty/staff/community users on various technologies and research tools related to research consultations and course deliverables.
- Experience developing/delivering instruction in an academic library environment.
- Flexibility, resilience, and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in an environment committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
- Knowledge of current trends and challenges facing research libraries, researchers, technology, and higher education.
