Financial Aid and Scholarships is seeking a Financial Aid Administrator (FAA) to be part of a positive, productive and supportive team dedicated to promoting student engagement and success. The FAA will ensure the best possible experience at NDSU by providing student-focused service in the form of counseling, advising and guidance in all areas of financial aid ranging from the completion of the FAFSA to establishing a long-term plan to pay for educational costs.
Duties include:
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, 7:30AM-4PM during breaks and summer
Advertised Salary:
$42,000+ and excellent benefits package
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 4-years of comparable education and experience in higher ed or related industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed degree beyond bachelors, 2+ years of financial aid experience, experience with CRM systems such as PeopleSoft, public speaking experience.

- Build relationships with students and their families and guide them through their first year of the financial aid process
- Provide detailed financial aid information to students and parents in a manner that is easy to understand
- Develop and implement financial aid policies, procedures, and initiatives that ensure compliance with federal, state and university regulations
- Work collaboratively with the Office of Admission by assisting with recruitment events and promoting outreach, including financial literacy
- Oversee or provide support for one or more administrative financial aid-related programs or processes
- Other duties as assigned.
