Senior Research Economist (10-month, non-tenure track)
The Agricultural Risk Policy Center (ARPC) at North Dakota State University invites applications for a Senior Research Economist at the rank of Research Assistant Professor. Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in agricultural economics, applied economics, economics, or a closely related field by the start date.
- Strong technical skills in econometrics, statistical analysis, and experience with large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences, including policymakers and stakeholders.
- A track record (or evidence of potential) of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative research settings.
- Experience with U.S. agricultural policy, market disruptions, or related agricultural economic topics.
- Familiarity with advanced econometric techniques.
- Prior experience in securing external funding for research or participating in funded research projects.
- Experience working on projects that involve policy engagement and outreach.
