This position overseen by the Dean of Students Office will work collaboratively with the NDSU Counseling Center, Student Health Service, Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources and the larger campus community to assist students experiencing significant challenges and/or barriers to academic success. The position will assist students in problem solving and life skill development while connecting students to both NDSU and community resources to support their personal well-being and academic success. Students voluntarily work with the case manager based off of an initial referral by any party concerned for the student.
-Independent interviews with students and assessment of student needs.
-Coordination of services to provide needed support to students.
-Refer and connect students to campus and community resources.
-Create action plans with individual students and manage ongoing cases.
-Perform campus outreach, education, and relationship building.
-Develop and maintain relationships with campus and community agencies.
-Assist students in crisis and connecting to resources.
-Document case management services, maintain data, and provide reports.
-Serve collaboratively on related campus committees and task forces.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8am-5 pm, 7:30am-4 pm during breaks and summer

Advertised Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000, plus excellent benefits package

Minimum Qualifications:
-Licensed social worker (LBSW) in the state of ND
-Demonstrated experience serving diverse populations
-Experience identifying and making referrals for appropriate services
-Effective communication skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively
-Ability to successfully organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
-5 years Case Management Experience
-Prior work experience in a related setting
-Demonstrated experience working with multiple systems
