Job Description:
This individual's responsibilities will include preparing land for farming, site work, operation of tractors, excavator, dozer and planting and harvesting equipment as well as other general farm and agriculture duties.
Specific Duties Include:
This individual's responsibilities will include preparing land for farming, site work, operation of tractors, excavator, dozer and planting and harvesting equipment as well as other general farm and agriculture duties.
Specific Duties Include:
- Operate Agriculture, Farm and Heavy Construction Equipment.
- Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of equipment.
- Delivery of mechanical parts, products, tools, etc. around the farm as needed.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of roles dependent on the farm needs.
- Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment on the farm.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
- Previous operator experience
- General maintenance ability
- Knowledge of safely operating equipment
- Previous farming, agriculture or heavy equipment (tractor, skid steer, off road truck, excavator, dozer) experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required.
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
