Job Summary:

The Technical Assistant Manager will oversee and coordinate various electrical projects from conception to completion. Your role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Specific Duties Include:
  • Manage projects including plan, oversee, and direct commercial electrical projects
  • Create and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Review project specifications, contracts, and cost estimates
  • Responsible for design and layout; develop and review electrical power distribution drawings
  • Generate reports and bid packages
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams
  • Establish, maintain strong relationships including relationships with contractors and utility power relationships
  • Oversee UL panel shop, design and create UL508A control panel layouts and wiring drawings for production.
  • Maintain UL UL508A QMTR Qualified Manufacturer Technical Representative Certification
  • Ensure compliance with UL508A requirements
  • Train personnel on UL procedures
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and workers safety; develop and manage safety documents
  • Ensure compliance within safety certification requirements
  • Provide access to safety-related documents for employees
  • Provide additional support as required including assist with mechanical design development, field service support, on-site project support, address personnel issues, and administrative duties
  • Maintain building safety information per OSHA and ISN guidelines
  • Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other personnel and management
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment on the farm
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Agri-Control Technologies
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
Requirements
  • College degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Trades and/or Electrical Licensing
  • 5 years' experience in electrical layout and/or planning
  • Travel 1-3 nights/month required
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Suites, AutoCad, and Solid Works Electrical
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
