Purpose of Position
This position provides support to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Business Office.
Position Summary
Perform duties associated with the Business Office. Such as but not limited to, interdepartmental billings, auditing, and coding. Editing digital content according to NDUS and VCSU digital accessibility standards and policies. Distribute and process incoming and outgoing mail. Process purchase orders. Maintain 1099 withholding forms. Maintain Asset Management system. Verify and receipt money received from students, faculty, staff, departments, and campus organizations to the correct funding source. Assist with journal entries and vouchers. Assist with miscellaneous reconciliations, back up receipt processing, and provide exceptional customer support.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, banking, finance, or related field (may substitute two years directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements) and experience with Microsoft Office are required.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, banking, finance or related field; experience with accounting and PeopleSoft or Campus Connection; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a proven ability to organize and prioritize work activities; and the ability to work independently and as an effective team member are preferred.
Compensation
$41,000-$45,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
