Job Duties:
Responsible for teaching computer information systems, computer science, and/or software engineering courses. Specific duties include (1) providing instruction to undergraduate students through classroom instruction, online learning, and university activities; (2) preparing course syllabi, course materials and learning experiences; (3) creating and maintaining program curriculum; (4) maintaining appropriate course records and documentation; (5) assisting in recruiting and advising a diverse student population for the programs; (6) participating in assessment and planning related departmental programs; (7) serving on committees, performing department and university activities, and providing service to the overall university and community; (8) advising student organizations; and (9) performing related computer systems and software engineering teaching duties.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (foreign credential equivalency accepted).
