The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for partnering with leadership in the implementation of the human capital strategy, aligning people with business strategy in an engaging and high-performing culture.  The HR Manager assists in continuously improving and delivering the human resource functions of the organization, including recruiting, hiring, performance management, compensation, benefits/wellness, and related training. The HR Manager leads the Human Resource Business Partners in delivering optimized support to all areas of the organization while also leading projects that lead to additional efficiencies for the team and improved experiences for team members.

The HR Manager performs the following functions consistent with the organization’s human capital strategy: 

Leadership:  Leads the Human Resource Business Partner team in delivering holistic support to leaders and their teams, resulting in a superior team member experience and fully integrated human resource strategy.

Compensation Administration: Partners with leadership in identifying best practice, market- competitive total rewards programs consistent with the organization’s total rewards strategy and compensation philosophy. 

Benefits and Wellness:  Ensures effective communication and processes are in place to educate team members on Total Rewards programs and wellness resources.   Assists in regular review and reporting of benefit program performance.  

Performance Management:  Partners with leadership to develop systems and tools to deliver coaching, feedback and manage team member performance, to ensure a high performing organization. Develops and implements employee development opportunities to align with strategic focus.  

Recruiting/Hiring: Leads Human Resource Business Partner team in identifying effective candidate sources, ensures streamlined applicant tracking, recruitment, and effective communication with hiring managers and candidates, and implements recruitment tools to aide in effective selection process. Helps ensure a superior onboarding experience for new team members.

Compliance:  Manages Human Resources program in a manner that complies with laws and regulations, including the preparation and filing of required regulatory reports, as well as drafting, updating, and maintaining employee handbooks, policies and procedures.      

Special Projects:  Manages HR related projects that are both specific to the HR team and involve organizational wide integration.

Experience and Education: Knowledge of specialized principles or techniques which would normally be obtained through a formal 4-year college or university academic program directly related to the work being performed along with 7+ years of experience. SPHR and SHRM-SCP and previous leadership experience preferred.

This is a full-time position with benefits and will be located in West Fargo, ND.
