What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have? Job requirements vary by position. Doherty Staffing has a number of opportunities in the local area that range from entry-level to skilled. The skills and education needed to be successful in a role differ, but previous experience in a manufacturing, food production or similar industry is preferred. A great candidate will have favorable work history and be willing to learn on the job. How would you describe the company leadership/team management? Doherty Staffing’s business is people. We exist because of clients, employees and the communities we serve. As we deal with people inside and outside the company, we will be guided by a strong mission along with a list of key values. As a women-owned and family-run company, our owners, managers, and leadership team members act as prominent representations of our core company values. Opportunities to lead projects within our company are vast and individuals of all levels who step up to these challenges are encouraged and rewarded.

Where do you see the company/organization in the upcoming years? Doherty Staffing has been a leader in employment-related services for over 40 years. Our company started with two employees and one office in 1980 and has grown to nearly 180 employees and over 20 offices today. In the upcoming years, Doherty not only plans to continue our growth, but also is forecasting an ownership from the first to the second generation of Doherty family members.
